Resilience is at the heart of our wellbeing, success and long term mental health, as we navigate our way through the experiences of adulthood.

We use The Resilience Doughnut to help us to understand the things that help all of us cope better, like relationships, a powerful identity, a sense of belonging, agency, meaning, purpose, achievement and social justice. A resilience-building response is attuned to the cultural and contextual differences found in individuals, the workplace and wider community.

The Resilience Doughnut provides a practical research-validated tool for individuals, teams and organisations to better manage the inevitable ups and downs of life, and with individuals and small groups on a targeted basis to build capacity for resilience for those currently experiencing a challenge, adversity or transition.

The Resilience Doughnut also provides a basis for workplaces to establish, build and strengthen a positive culture which involves every member of the organisation in their interactions each day. Fostering resilience at an individual, department and company level has the potential to increase the capacity for colleagues to grow and flourish within a positive environment.
Staff Resilience in the Workplace
The Resilience Doughnut provides a powerful and easy to use tool for adults with a solution focused, strengths-based practice at its core. Communities with a positive climate practice a whole-community approach to the development of wellbeing and emotional resilience, which involves everyone in their natural interactions each day.
Individuals with these skills have the tools to cope, thrive and flourish in their own lives, and contribute positively towards the community, friends and family around them - a kind of ripple effect.

You can:
- host a Developing Resilience workshop for your community group
- join a scheduled workshop to take time to develop and consider your own resilience.
